Wildman needs your prayers.........

Postby midger » December 7th, 2008, 12:29 am

Jim and I fished yesterday and made some flyrod grips up for some blanks he's going to be building up. Seems he developed chest pains Friday night late so had to take a trip to Loma Linda Hospital where he is getting tests ran. I stopped to see how he was doing this afternoon and it looked like they were going to keep him for a while. His spirits were up and I didn't stay long as the nurse was running tests and the Doctor came in so we scooted away. Keep him in your thoughts--he's a good guy and a superb photographer, and a he absorbs info like a sponge when it comes to learning new flyfishing techniques. I love to see enthusiasm like Jim's in our sport.

I was wondering what happened to him today. We were expecting him on the Kings this morning. :(

I will certainly be keeping him in my thoughts :!:
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

I talked to Jim this morning and he's still in Loma Linda Hospital--room 6203 for anyone in the area of Loma Linda.

Doc, yes he has his cell phone with him and answered this morning when I called him.

Apparently still no prognosis, but his spirits are up and he's contemplating the rods he'll be building, and that's a good sign.

I wish Wildman and his family the best. I can somehow relate since my father had heart surgery a few years back from a heart attack. I always enjoy reading his reports!
