Unlimited "Jim's Mustache" Thread

After seeing the pics of our beloved Jim "Wildman" Wilkins, I got to thinking about his famous mustache and some of my comments about it over the course of our friendship. So, without further adieu, I think we need a thread dedicated to the greatness that can only be Jim's Mustache.........

Some things need no narrative......
Image

Jim once rescued a Cub Scout pack from a cliff by pulling them up with his mustache....

Jim's mustache has it's own zip code......

The last time Jim got a trim on his mustache, Abe Lincoln was standing in line behind him....

Jim's mustache has its own booth at the Fly Fishing Show. You can find it in the Fly Tying materials section.

Jim went to the ear doctor because he was hearing odd chirping noises. The doc looked in Jim's mustache found a nest of fledgling sparrows and an endangered spotted owl.....

Jim once survived a blizzard in the Sierra's by wrapping himself in his mustache for warmth....

One time, Tom Sakai caught Jim's mustache in a backcast with a size 16 Copper John. When the fly popped loose and hit the water, it was a dry fly and was immediately inhaled by a 30" hook jaw brown.

Jim's the only FFA member known to do well on the Upper O at high noon. The trout hide in his mustache's shadow...

Security at Sea World once asked Jim to leave because he was embarrassing their bull walrus.

Feel free to add to this..... Jim, you rock.

There was a time when I was asked to play Santa. That was when the beard came off.

Last trip in the locals Jim bent down to fill his filter bottle. His mustache stayed immersed for a minute while he let it leisurely fill. I looked and there was a 16 inch brown hiding in the new structure. I cast my ehc and let it drift toward Jim. Got a ferocious take but then he took me deep into the mustache and busted me off!

I heard a story once that Jim made his own tapered leader from his mustache. It was so popular he made it a business and became a millionaire.

Chuck Norris saw Jim's mustache, and ran the other way.

He longs for a mustache like Jim's

Jim's mustache is so impressive, he once ordered a Big Mac at Burger King and got one.

Master bamboo rod artisans only use Jim's mustache hair to wrap guides on their finest offerings. And those have a 14 year waiting list...

Well played, Teejay. It would not surprise me in the least if Jim jumps in with a story about having met Theodor Seuss Geisel, aka Dr. Suess, at some time in his life. The resemblance is uncanny.
