I have seen this before but it is really great to revisit it. There are so many neat things in this video. I am a sucker for semi turbid waters and this stream's color is perfect for hunting predatory fish. One of my favorite moments that gives away a cool aspect of streamer fishing is early on when one of the guys, fishing from near the tailout of the pool, casts, mends and does not start stripping fast. He's essentially drifting the streamer without too much activation. Pretty classy even if they probably already know that those fish are ravenous. But then there's that crazy hillbilly net! Finally, key factor: migration barrier. Clever. I have had very little experience with bull trout but I know one thing, they are fantastic. I am a huge fan of that fish even if it is visually a tad drab. Mikey Wier and I spoke about them once and he feels that they are the closest thing in N. America to the Taimen. The weirdest fights from "trout" (char) I have ever had were from Bull Trout. They are crazy in the head; no lie. Thanks for posting this.

I love the Humblefisherman series. They have been one of my favorite channels to subscribe to over the last couple of years.

My daughter watched this with me. At the end of the video, she asked where the dog went? :|

The last scene has played out on my trips(not bull trout)many times over. Swing the streamer, then let it hang in the current. Jig it back to you, then lift to do it all over again. That final lift triggers a strike. Those takes can be subtle, and just add weight to your line.......but most times they grab, turn, and run. :bananadance:

This was outstanding work. "Classy" does pretty much sum it up.

PS, some of those canyoneering maneuvers reminded me of one of our trips a couple years back (can't believe it's been that long already)
