Ain't no NorEaster 3 footer but...........

..........the fish have to be loving the latest SoCal storm. The good news is we received a foot of snow here in Running Springs, the bad news is it will mean slow fishing as this melts off and streams run high and cold. Here's the actual measurement on the deck:

This storm is much needed. If you decide to fish, dress warm and wade carefully. Casting practice is fun even when the fish don't cooperate. ;)
"Should you cast your fly into a branch overhead or into a bush behind you, or miss a fish striking, or lose him,or slip into a hole up to your armpits-keep your temper; above all things don't swear, for he that swears will catch no fish."

I was going to go fish a local today but I decided against it with all the snow and a cop killer out on the loose. Good to see the white stuff though.
