99 Cent Store First Aid Kit

Decided to put together a first aid kit for the truck. Cost $10 at the dollar store, already had the knife,tweezers, chapstick, and openers.

Ibuprofen (altitude adjustment, headache)
Aspirin (full strength, heart attack, headache)
Neosporin (antibacterial)
Immodium AD (diarrhea)
Pepcid AC (heartburn)
Large Bandages
Small Bandages
Rolled Gauze
Tape
Antibacterial wet wipes
chapstick
Knife
P38 and P51 can openers
tweezers

Got it all into a small 10" x 6" x 2" plastic box, slides right under the driver seat.



Did I miss anything? Should handle most campsite issues I would think.

I would add a few clean small hand towels in a zip lock bag.

Last year I was the first (and only for about five minutes) person to respond to a downed motorcyclist who had very serious leg injuries including a compound fracture. I pulled out my handy 1st aid kit looking for a large bandage and literally started throwing stuff up in the air, like a cartoon, looking for something to slow the bleeding. I ending up grabbing a beach towel and applying pressure until help arrived. Now I carry the above mentioned small towels.
