Looks like you did a good job to me.

I think I would like three feet. Using a 4-way side outlet * would, I think, make it much more stable. Still, yours looks better than the ones I used to think about buying.

What did you do, if anything, to prevent scratches from the magnetic feet?

As for the roof racks: Exactly which store can you purchase the magnets? I haven't seen them that size at home depot. Oh you mean a real hardware store.

Odd my local depot has a whole bay of Velcro and magnets...

That's a nice DIY project and all, but I don't trust anyone who has that clean and organized of a workbench. The hula girl and incendiary devices are a nice touch though.

If you need another project I have one for you.
Since to already have a guide on your work bench(Cliffs bugger box) See if you can make one just like it.
Looks great but I like your bugger box the best.
I still need one of those.

I saw a that fishing guide in bridgeport that had one for his TJ. I didn't get a chance to get a closer look at it though.
would probably have to make some kinda mounting between the freedom top and the windshield.

Protecting the paint…after posting this the other night I got to thinking about how I might tackle this. I was thinking about using silicone caulking and brush and just painting a thin layer across the bottom of the magnetic feet. It might need repairing but should remain quite soft over time. I also thought about the rubber dip used for making grips for tools such as pliers.

As for the four way PVC, it would actually be thee feet on each base. Here's a pic of the * I was thinking of:

I don't know if that would work better than four, but I believe it would.
