I hope this is the appropriate place to post as I don't wanna step on any toes. I just want to let everyone here know that the FFCOC is having their annual fundraising auction with a TON of stuff up for sale. Some new, some used. Everything from adventure fishing trips to fly tying materials. The general public is WELCOMED with open arms, so come get a deal on a 2 year old stick, or one of my nets that I donated. This club is a class act much like F.F.A.

ANNUAL AUCTION TIME!
This year’s auction will be held at the September meeting at our regular place and time:
Date and Time: September 13, 2010, 6:15pm.
Location: The Phoenix Club, Main Hall (Ballroom)
1340 S. Sanderson, Anaheim, CA
The auction is a great opportunity for those getting started in fly fishing to obtain what you need to get started in fly fishing For those who think they already have it all, not a chance! There is always something good to add to your fishing fun!

We are fortunate to have a large number of items to auction off including:
Fly boxes filled with flies tied by club experts
A custom made FFCOC Maple & walnut landing net by Sierra Nets
Fly tying equipment and materials with many lots of materials.
Fly rods, reels and lines - both new and carefully used.
Waders and other equipment
Great fly plates including names like Bill Blackstone and Gary LaFontaine
Art by John Williams, Mike Stidham, Bob White
Many Fly Fishing oriented books
Trips, lodging and guiding.

Important message for non-members:
Most attending our meetings participate in the buffet dinner we buy from the Phoenix Club. If you would like the dinner you must make a reservation as described below. If you do NOT want to be included in the dinner, there is no charge and you do not need to make a reservation.
You must make your dinner reservation by September 6th as follows:
Go to the FFCOC web site at www,ffcoc.org.
Select “Club Calendar”. If necessary, click “Sep” to get to the month of September.
Click on the text found in the September 13 box.
Click on “Register Now”
Follow the directions to register and pay by credit card.
(You will be asked to pay a $27 fee, consisting of a $25.00 dinner fee and a $2.00 credit card fee.)
