Big nasty, filthy, montana Junk

Postby castaway » March 27th, 2009, 5:16 pm

After my trip with Daivd, I have been a bit obsessed with the nasty, big, funky, filthy, montana style articulated junk streamers.

Butt-monkey's and sex dungeons... thats right... the big nasty stuff.

the only good (errr.. decent) source I have found is

http://www.madriveroutfitters.com/

So-So on the Nastyfunkajunk (pat. pending on this term (my last good one was taken).. used as an adj. in this context but could also be used as a noun....  ) of these streamers... looking for more/better - If I could learn to tie... it might help.

Any ideas of good a source?

Kelly named his shop/lodge from the landslide that resulted from a 7.5 earthquake in 1959 that struck the Madison Canyon near the town of Cameron MT. The landslide killed 33 people and destroyed many riverside cabins. If anyone has ever fished that region I am sure they have seen the large scar on the North facing slope just before exiting Madison Canyon. The slide also produced the six mile long Quake lake. I think its a great name for a lodge. The area obviously has great fishing but a little unfortunate that folks dont take a little time to learn the local history of the area visited.

I have never been there, but will be

Only saw the name on his website... (sorry didnt take the time read the history of the lodge)

I guess my playful use of language can be offensive.

I apologize if I offended the good people of Montana.

Thanks for the history lesson.

geeze...my bad..... thats terrible.
