A Custom Net for the Owners of the FF Show

Postby Fishfreak911 » January 21st, 2013, 1:43 am

This was a commission by Ben Furminsky, the son of Check F., owner of the FF shows.

It is the second one of this elliptical shape modeled after Flybob's net.

The woods are: Cat's Paw Burl Big Leaf Maple, Genuine Mahogany, & Wenge. The open burl eyes were filled with Kingman Turquoise, and copper accents rounds out the raw materials. I tied a black and teal lanyard which ended up blending nicely with the colors of the net. We laser engraved their logo right onto the handle.

Beautiful piece of art and very functional as well. Great pictures.

Amazing, Greg. I didn't know what to say when you allowed you me to hold those masterpieces in Mammoth. Seeing this one made that feeling return.

And I'm going to be dropping you a PM soon regarding an article I'm writing for Wildman.

Take care, Mike
