A place to find information on Guides, Events and sales happening at local fly shops.

Fred Hall Show March 6-10

Postby Lee-B » February 26th, 2013, 6:58 pm

I'll have a booth at the Fred Hall Show with ECHO rods, Airflo lines and Waterworks-Lamson reels for sale. Got to see the new Speedster! I'll also be tying flies, no small stuff, Baja flies mostly. Come by and say hello.

I won't be in the fly fishing section but on the main floor in the fishing section.

I'll be there on Wednesday afternoon doing casting demos and free lessons. Hopefully I won’t be babysitting some little tots while their parents shop.

If I get a chance to stop by or have someone wanting to cast one of my rods, I'll see you there.

What is your floor number? I know that I will be there on Wed, Thurs, and Fri, NOT THE WEEKENDS, too many people.

I'll be there Lee. I'll stop by at some point I'm sure. I'm displaying some of my nets at the Central Sierra FF's booth. I'll def. be there tomorrow morning, and again on Friday, all day. I also work the FFF SW council booth on Friday Afternoon. I'll make sure I steer people your way when applicable Lee.

For all those that are attending, stop by the WFN booth and say hi, learn more about our network and grab some stickers. Unfortunately I'm not going to be there this year, too much work to take care of back in the old edit suite.

I'll be there teaching casting and I'm sure I'll be baby sitting while the parents go shop. But I have a plan. Only 5 min. if you are under 20 years old. ololoo

Had a great time, almost never got to leave the booth and.............speaking of baby sitting....I had a mother leave her 7 year old son and 15 year old daughter with me while I tied a sand crab fly for the boy. She left to "shop" and returned 20 minutes later with a half drunk *. Mother of the year?

Lee,
I read your post and I had to laugh. I think if the lady had any class she would have at least offered you a drink for your time. It is amazing what the general public will do at an event.

"Hey at least she thought you looked trustworthy right?"

That's the scary part, even the guys to each side of me wondered what she was doing. One asked why she'd leave them with "Satan Clause".

As to drinking, not in the booth because I talk enough with out getting motored mouthed LOL

Can't wait for next year though......
