Bad News and Good News

"Adventures in Bluewater Baja -- Flyfishing the Edge"

As our April speaker, Bill Becher, told me on Sunday night. He had bad news and good news. He would not be at our meeting to speak on the East Walker. He broke his ankle over the weekend. He is scheduled for surgery this week and will not be able to make the trip to our Club House.

The fantastic good news is he arranged Gary Bulla as his replacement as our April speaker.

He will share with us "Adventures in Bluewater Baja -- Flyfishing the Edge." The results of using a flyrod and camera over the last twenty years pursuing the diverse wonders of this sun drenched area.

Gary Bulla grew up on the beaches and waters of the Southern California coast. His long-time love for the ocean and his passion for fly fishing makes him a great speaker for our Club. He can get us to the big fish in our own back door.

But Wednesday night, he will share Baja and the Sea of Cortez. The two juxtapose each other to form one of the richest areas of life in the world. The islands in this area are the Galapagos of North America. He will show us his strategies for success in this exciting and challenging fishery.

You can find Gary Bulla's full bio and his Baja trips on his website. http://www.garybulla.com/

See you Wednesday night!
