Stripers on the fly!

Postby unskunkable » February 10th, 2011, 6:27 pm

I hope you are all as stoked as I am!
David Wratchford is a Fly-fishing guide, employee of Fishermen's Spot and a confirmed Striper Junkie. He makes no apologies for this preferring instead to embrace the psychosis. He goes so far as to clear
his schedule nearly every October to head to the East Coast for the fall run of migratory fish. When the local lakes are going off you'll find him wandering the shoreline rod in hand before and after work, even without clients!

In this presentation you will learn the essentials of chasing our local land locked Striped Bass populations. Tactics, equipment and best time of year will be covered. In addition you will also learn where your best shot at a trophy Striper locally is and how to specifically target bigger fish. You will learn where to go and what to do if numbers of fish are your interest. This will be an evening of not only education but fun! When you leave if you aren't amped to go chase Stripers in our lakes maybe you better check your pulse!

The SSFFC meeting starts at 7:00 PM at the Kernville Chamber of Commerce located:
11447 Kernville Rd
Kernville, CA

For directions, ask anybody at Guy's Shop. Its just a couple blocks from the Shop at the "T"

Usually there's people gathering around 5:30 PM at El Jacalitos for dinner before the meeting. After the meeting, people usually hangout at the Brewery.

This should be a great meeting!

David rocked the presentation! Everyone enjoyed the lack of bull and straight forwardness of it

Afterwards we all threw down cold ones at the brewery and then talked lot's of bull.

Thanks!
