New to the forum, to UT, & to swinging flies

Postby Mlob1one » September 7th, 2014, 8:40 pm

My name is Mike and I have just moved from Oregon to UT. I have fished for salmon, steelhead, bass, tuna, halibut, rockfish, ling, & sturgeon. I would trout with the kids.
Now that I'm living in UT I have not picked up my casting, & spinning rods and have only fished with my 5904 Sage VXP & Lamson Litespeed IV 2. I also have a 3762 TFO with Lamson Litespeed II 1.5.
Loving the trout fishing here and getting settled. Any other UT guys here?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike, welcome to the site. Where are you at in Utah. I know a few guys out that way, and several who find reasons to get out that way.

Welcome!!!
I fished many places on my last trip through Utah and found it just breath taking! Lucky you. Now Oregons no slouch either, Washington, California, Colorado.... but those Utah waters are really fun and great people.

Hello Mike and welcome to FFA! I happen to be a big fan of Utah trout fishing. You are a lucky guy to be living there, whereabouts do you live? I Fished five days there last summer and had a blast. I fished the area around Loa and Boulder Mountain. I'll be looking forward to seeing your reports here on Addicts.

Welcome, Mike. I avoid Utah as a personal protest against their stream access law - I try not to even buy gas there if I have to drive through. But there is some good fishing there and all around you so looking forward to some trip reports. Jon

Hello Mike, and welcome to the Addicts Family!

We look forward to your Utah adventures as well as just actively participating in the shenanigans around this place in general.

All views and opinions are welcomed here....unless of course....they are not! :bananadance:
