Hello Fly Fishing Addicts

Postby FlyKastr » March 30th, 2016, 3:40 pm

I’m new to fly fishing and to this forum. Thank you for this valuable resource and for allowing access to it. I’m very fortunate to have friends 1mocast, flybob, and rkfiske, that generously and patiently educate me about everything fly fishing. I reside in SoCal near Bob Marriott’s.

Like many of you, I’ve fished since childhood. My Grandfather took my Dad fishing; they both took me fishing; I take my family fishing. My son and I decided to pursue fly fishing after our latest family vacation to Montana and Idaho. We look forward to being part of this fellowship.

With sincere appreciation,

Welcome to the fray, at least what is left of it! LOL!
Yes, great people here who are more that willing to help out and share info.
I have learned a ton from them, and STILL learning!

Thank you WanderingBlues! Yes, I’m very fortunate to know these folks. My son and I got our first trout on a fly while fishing with them last summer. Oddly, I’ve been out with 1mocast three times and we got checked by the DFG twice. If this trend continues, he may not want to fish with me much longer… ;)
