Sounds like something I need.

I went to the Orvis site and started typing in the search box....then I remembered the Sporan and checked the date.

If it's relying on a tight weave to remain waterproof, what's going to happen over time as you take big steps and stretch that weave some? I also wonder what sitting on a muddy bank will do to their water repellency?
Seems like the mud would work into the wool fibers and start absorbing water, but surely it's been tested for something like that. I guess I'm just skeptical and will have to wait and see how they work for people I know.
Then again I was skeptical about Gore-Tex too.

I've got to admit I got taken too. I clicked on the link, irritated that my year old Orvis waders were no longer their best. :)
