Nerf gun is considered an assault weapon in CA and considering that thing is made in China it definitely doesn't shoot nontox. Don't use it.

Hey , waddaya mean steel shot? you tellin me that I can't use lead any mo ? Only kidding, But I don't use steel that much. I have been using the tungsten and bismuth for a pretty long time now. And clee, do not give them any ideas , or the next thing you know the nerf stuff will be banned. Did you hear about the grade school in CA. that had a program to turn in you toy gun for a book and a raffle ticket . Really I am not joking here I wish that I was .

This is a story of self-control and marksmanship with an itsy bitsy shooter by a woman against a fierce predator.

What is the smallest caliber you trust to protect yourself?

The Beretta Jetfire:

While out hiking in Alberta Canada with my husband we were surprised by a huge grizzly bear charging at us from out of nowhere. She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive

If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire with me I would not be here today!

Just one shot to my husband’s knee cap was all it took. The bear got him and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace..

It's one of the best pistols in my collection

Of course it's a joke. It's a play on the old joke of telling your buddy you do not have to out run the bear, just out run him.
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

I'm an idiot. I misread it. I thought it said she shot the bear in the knee cap. That's what happens when you quickly skim a post and not pay attention to the details.

I don't know how I missed that. Its been a long week for me...
