i was going to post this on salt water reports but this is something i whanted to share with every one because is special to me... after 1000s of dollars of gas going from redlands to san diego bay,1000 of hours pedaling my kayak ,4 hours of driving to sd.,getting up at 3am,almost lossing my wife lol. my dream came true. one more species on the board.. :bananadance: :bananadance: C-n-R Image Image Image Image Image

Congrats on the bone. That's pretty cool! I'd love to hook into one some day, but I haven't put in the time to really have a chance, yet.

Oddly enough, I have that same fly tied on my 6wt just waiting for my next trip to the bay.

I knew the moment my drag started singing. Little bastids can swim can't they? , The Michael Phelps of the fish world. I got very lucky visiting the Bay and have gotten 3 so far. If I didn't live 3,000 miles away I 'd make a career of that place. Congrats, I know the feeling. May you have many more in your future.

Very nice!! Congrats....we got to get a group together here and do a christmas Island (kiribati) trip below hawaii.
For tons of bones and The huge GT there!!
