The aftermath was not pretty, some were going into a food and beer coma...

Saturday morning Jim, Tom, Ruben and myself opted for a late start and I slept in till about 8:30am, it was really nice. We headed north on the 395 to some cooler weather, it was a great choice, weather was perfect.

Hiking to our destination.

So how did you do?

Flyfishing was tough for me, I had three finger sized browns to hand not worthy of photos. It was an incredibly beautiful day and although the fish catching was tough the fly fishing was great.

Saturday evening was great with tons of awesome tasty food. I put the camera away and didn't get any shots on this night. Maybe someone else will have a few shots.

Sunday morning chow time, cowboy coffee and the works for breakfast.

Where oh where shall we fish today?

Partial group shots before departing for our last day of fly fishing

We headed our separate ways, some went south and others went north. Fishing was fun with lots of of swings and misses. Oh and the occasional hookups, some small and some decent sized fish were brought to hand or net when needed.

No camera tricks or photoshop here. These images were straight out of the camera. I thought I was going to have to make some lighting adjustment but everything came out fine.

As you could see we had a pretty awesome time this weekend.

Thanks for the great memories guys. Catch you all on the water sometime soon my friends.

I almost didn't recognize Rockstar.

Looks like great weather and some quality fish. Nice to see that shot of Ruben, a really nice guy. Met him with Benny at the GTW opener.

Man, even without fish pics, it's an awesome report. It's the camaraderie of the crew that makes it real!

You're absolutely correct! Hanging out with new friends and old friends was all that was needed, the fish were just a small bonus.

What a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Pizza night was a great way for all of us to get together and talk, good call Mark. It was sure a great way to send off Zee and Mike on their new adventures.

What kind of a title is that? I thought this would be a thread with artsy fartsy close-ups of bees or flowers or something like that that you've been taking this month. Oh wait, that's Sasha. :booty: Looks like you guys had a good weekend and got out of there just before the weather changed - nice! Jon

I know.... I know... Well I was going to go with Las Aventuras y Despedida de El Hombre Zee y El Estrella Roquero Pescador, but that title was just to long and didn't fit into that little box at the top.

I like the Spanish version better Benny :D

Was a great weekend and thank you to all of you who were able to come out even if it was just for pizza! I'll get my few pics up tonight or tomorrow.
