A couple days ago I noticed the cork felt weird on one of my spey rods. Closer inspection showed the upper portion of the cork was loose from the blank. When I wiggled it, I also noticed one of the cork rings had separated all the way around the grip. Sent it back today. I'll report on how long it takes to get it back.
This is the second time I've used Sage's website to handle a warranty claim. I created an account, and can do everything from my PC. I can pay for the repairs, and get a FedEx shipping label printed. I'll get updates on the status of the repairs. Neat deal.
