For any of you wondering where to fish with the water situation as it is in California, here's a report from a guide in Northern California. It looks like the water is in prime shape now (good news), however this is way too early for the rivers to be fishable due to expected spring runoff that is normally experienced during this time of year so this doesn't bode well for the remainder of the year (bad news). I guess the bottom line is if you're planning your trips, you better make them earlier instead of later. I've fished all of the rivers mentioned and they provide some fine and very diverse types of water for you to ply.
