Welcome aboard! You will have some legit dudes around you to toss flies with, especially in the surf.

Welcome aboard. I'm a retired geologist (Getty-Texaco-Chevron) living just a little inland from you (Poway). I'm often in your neck of the woods standing on the beach with fly rod in hand. Since it's right in your back yard, so to speak, you should consider giving surf fishing a try. It's fun to take a fly rod to the beach. Drop me a note if you want to give it a try. I can help.
Life is good. Eternal life is better!
