I'm working on tying some of these:

In hopes of a day on the river like this:

This is just a great video that, I think, really captures the attitude of flyfishing.

And, because Shane isn't going to be around in the spring here... I'll have to be the one throwing the big Bushy Skwalas to his good friends. Sorry Man. ;) (size 10 you say?...)

Hope you're having fun over there Shane, hope you haven't gotten bored of fish the size of logs yet.

I love stims!! Does the good doctor accept money orders? ;)

Nice Stimie Ray,
now you say you are just getting started?

That vid put a nice smile on my face as the rain pounds down on my roof!
Thanks Ray,
Bob

No no no... That's just the example and recipe I'm following. Mine don't bear much resemblance to that at all!

Makes me want to jump in the truck and head North to Sasha's house. March is just around the corner--hey, wait. I will be in Boise during part of March. ;)

Now I've managed to lose the ones you gave me at the 9-man'er, you think you could post a recipe w/pic?

I noticed in my box, some of the stimmies I had had a mono-loop out the butt, presumably for tying on droppers. were those yours? (they're all in bushes or rocks now... wherever they came from?)

Glad its raining back home. I'm up in Spokane on business. My favorite part of the Vid:

"After a winter of fishing ridiculously small midge patterns and stupid little strike indicators, large bushy dry fly patterns were a welcome relief to us all"

I'm ready for it!
