Snow in the locals

Postby midger » January 8th, 2016, 11:53 am

For those wondering, the San Bernardino Mountains received a good amount of snow this past storm. We returned from Idaho on Wednesday night to a foot of new snow in our driveway and another 6 inches overnight and on Thursday. This will really help the local watersheds and for all you skiers/snowboarders, conditions should be excellent the next week.

You can see Slide Peak at Snow Valley Ski Area in this picture. It's the bald looking peak in the center of the picture. Snow Valley sits about 6 miles from our house.

Keep your fingers crossed and hope we get more.

There's more coming your way this winter courtesy of El Nino.

Very nice pictures Mike, thanks for sharing them.

You really think the conditions will be good?
Last time I was up, ALL the pools were silted up!
I think our locals still need a GOOD flushing!
