Dream home in Kansas

Postby fly addict » July 9th, 2016, 7:39 am

Some of you know I’m planning on moving to Kansas to spend the rest of my retirement fly fishing with Larry and the rest of the Kansas gang. So I have been looking online at homes and I came across this place. It is more then I want to spend but it sure is tempting. Maybe someone here will or can pull the trigger. The man cave would make a great FFA gathering.

Very nice. I also found one for $125,000 right in Nyisa that I could live in very nicely with no room for all the "stuff" I have now....which is a plus. Looks like farm country.

Mark,

So, you've decided on Kansas! :bananadance:

It's a pretty good place to hang your hat and we look forward to seeing you up here.

That property, by the way, is offered by Austin Callison Realty. He specializes in hunting and fishing properties in Idaho and eastern Oregon and is a great guy!

We pass that property heading up the canyon on every trip to the Big O. There are also deer, ducks, geese, turkeys, quail, chukars and doves on that ranch...a man would never go hungry living there.

Best regards,

Jeff

Dang that's one * of a complex!

Jim,
Can you fly a plane? If you can't you can still stash all your stuff here.

I can get up....fly around and land pretty good. Mostly my flying is confined to benchmark birthdays now.

That is a very nice place though. A lot of folks now fly these bush airplanes made especially for backcountry access.

Not quite my style of home, I'd perfer a ranch style home. I do like the acreage and close proximity to the river though.

I spent a summer working in Idaho Falls, Kansas. God's country! And fishy water in every direction...
