Another forester owner is trying to talk me into a small lift and new springs but I am holding out

Sooooo, when exactly will we get to see the new lift? I mean, it only makes sense to get the lift before the skid plates right?

I actually kind do want to get a small 2 inch lift...just to be able to get slightly bigger tires and to have more choices for all terrains. Just not wanting to dump too much more cash into it or crush the mpg which is one of the reasons I bought it. List and slightly bigger tires would look nice tho
