It's pretty much packed down now, so I'd say 6-8", but it is very wet snow. You would probably want a vehicle to stay in and not a tent. Water flows are way up too. I don't know the -cfs-, I just "eyeballed it. BobK

Here is today's report from Mammoth with 41-48" of new snow:

We blasted through the record for most monthly snowfall [209"] with 241" of snow so far this January and it's STILL DUMPING! This severe winter storm is forecast to continue through the morning and resort operations will again be limited and road closures are still in effect.

Btw, the flow reports at the top of the screens are still broken. LO flows are over 300 and the upper Kern is not at 73 cfs - yesterday it peaked at close to 4000 and it is still over 2000.

Jon,
I just checked the DWP site and the flows on the LO are 156 cfs and have been that for around a week or more. http://wsoweb.ladwp.com/Aqueduct/realti ... altime.htm
Where are you seeing 300 cfs? Just want to know because I plan on going up again real soon and don’t want to go if it is really 300 cfs.

Yes, you are right. That's what I looked at too, but I was looking at the flow for below Big Pine Creek (currently 310) not the PV outflow which is at 168 right now. Given the amount of rain and snow of the last couple of weeks though I would keep a close eye on that to see if they jack it up. Good luck!

Sorry, but I would bet that Feb. 1969 was the wettest(most snow?) month on record. BobK
