Here goes with a bunch of photos from files on my desktop. Yes, it's sideways.

It won't let me go back and choose others. Let me see if I can open a bunch.

I may be doing something wrong. It seems to want to let me insert multiple pictures.

WALA! Seems to work. Ten pics and you can also comment after they are posted. On my mifi based internet, this is a very slow load but once loaded always comes right in.

I will try a post about my fishing trip today with Luc.

Could you please explain how to do this?
I am mystified by what you are doing.

Maybe. OK when you create a post or reply there are two boxes at the bottom of the screen...Preveiw or Post.

Scroll down from there and see if you see a box entitled Options and Upload attachment

Click on upload attachment and browse on your harddrive for the photo you wish to post. You can write a comment at the bottom or do it after the photo appears in your post. Click on add the file. another box appears that says place inline....click that.

If you want to do another, go down to upload attachment and start over up to ten times. Each time you must place it in line as well

Hit submit. You can edit as always and add commentary as you normally do.

Hopefully that does not confuse anyone....never knew it was there.

Got it, thanks.
Unfortunately maximum size is 800 X 600 so it won't work for me unless I resize. My default is 1024 X 768.

my pics were around 2,000 scaled down to 700 automatically by the program. I didn't resize. Not sure we couldn't raise that up somehow but I thought what I posted was fair size to look at. When you click on it it reverts to full size

Gonna try it out.

It will work if the file size is correct.

This is the message I got when I tried. My files and images are all original size.

The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels high. The submitted image is 5616 pixels wide and 3744 pixels high.

This is what I get when I right click on the photo and see info: 1,537px × 2,049px (scaled to 536px × 715px)

I didn't rescale it or do anything to it. Let me go look for a big photo

this originally was 1.8 mb and I just uploaded without changing it.

Info says: 3,504px × 2,336px (scaled to 994px × 663px)3,504px × 2,336px (scaled to 994px × 663px)

Not sure what all this means but it certainly seems like an alternative.

I get the same error message as Benny. Pic too big (and mine was 1024 X 768). I'm wondering if you get larger pics since you're an admin?

Maybe Stanbery can shed light on that. I am actually not sure of all the things I can do as Admin. I avoid changing anything other then zapping spammers occasionally for fear of screwing something up. Jon?

Benny and Bob

See post
http://www.flyfishingaddicts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=13175&p=135066#p135066

File upload was set at 800X600 so changed it to 1024x768 for picture upload.

Hope this helps

Jon
