Corbina Video

Postby Bernard » July 9th, 2020, 12:44 pm

Hello everyone ...
Despite being off to a strong start this year with the "beans" - the game got a bit frustrating and I have instead been enjoying some long neglected bass fishing. All that said, I did take a walk recently just to document corbina in the shallows. For those who have never observed this summer phenomenon, it's pretty cool. Enjoy!

So true Jeff. Spotting them isn't necessarily crazy impossible but getting them to grab a fly can be a curious proposition! I went out today and found them thick with no love for the merkin. Threw a small clouser and began fishing perpendicular to the beach and hooked up. Tomorrow I plan to experiment with a San Juan worm variation (it's worked before).

Happy to share Richard. It was fun sorting through the footage.
