Postby thtsarumr » September 7th, 2008, 10:18 am

Hello everyone. New to the site. Referred by DrCreek from another Fly Fishing Forum. Heres a bit about me:

My name is Blu Felix. I just got back from Iraq. Crazy Place. I have been Fly Fishing for about Ten Years. I was am a certified fly fishing guide out of Colorado. I am 99% C&R. I have fished alot on the east coast. and only a few rivers on the west. I tie my own flies and am in the process of getting my wife into fly fishing. I am originally from Az. and I plan on going after the Apache trout in the White Mountains later on this month. I missed alot of the season due to my recent deployment and need to make up for lost time.

Welcome Blu. Looking forward to your reports and insight. I seen lots of the flies you tied on the KF while you were deployed and now it's time to take um fishing. Hope you get all caught up on your fly fishing. It's always great when your other half is involved with fly fishing and your other hobbies as well. Nice to see you on FLYFISHINGADDICTS

Welcome, Blu. I was hoping meet at the 'vous, but can't make that. So welcome home and thanks very much for your service. :D
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Thanks for the welcome home. The Apache trout meet monster status in AZ. The Gila however are smaller and are as reviered as much as western slope cutts in the Grand Canyon State. Be reassured that there will be plenty of pics to follow my trip. Tight lines everyone and remember to support our troops.
