That GPX reel looks alright for the Saltwater... Not an over-sized, lightweight freshwater reel that they decided to offer as a saltwater reel... Really light is fine for trout, but I've seen first hand what a Over-sized Trout reel does in the Ocean.. Blam-O!!!! not pretty and the Fish of a life time is Gone... :doh: :doh:

You should be Fine with that Reel in a 7wt.... ;)

The Albright A5 rod sold during this sale ranked high in this 5 wt shoot out article.

If you recalculate the numbers (I removed the xfactor, craftsmanship and fun factor scores) based purely on performance the Albright rod moves into the number 4 spot beating out the Winston :shock: for 129.00.
