Well, I'm glade I was wrong about the blank being a Dan Craft. Very nice that it's going to be a Winston. Again, I'm boring and like traditional styling. I would make a terrible custom rod builder. Being a Winston, I would even be more boring, since IMHO, Winston typifies understated elegance in their rods. Go green!

Moss..it has dark swirls tha will tie in with burlwood real seat. It will also go well with several colors of wraps or trim.

That is what I was thinking as well.

Green and red burl checkerboard pattern with a ligh mix of burl for the rest.
