At that price, they're hard to pass up! Check out the features to the higher priced toons. I think you'll see they are don't match up all that well, when it comes to the pontoon covering. Hard to say how the bladders stack up, but they do use a different material than the more expensive boats. The river rating is on the lower end of the spectrum.

Having said that, i've read some good reviews on the Trout Unlimited Colorado. The boats should be fine, as long as you don't abuse them. By the way, I have a Scadden toon, and I do abuse it. I've already torn the pontoon cover, and my rear deck is going to need bracing soon. Give me a hunk of rubber, and i'd probably break it.

Ive been looking for a toon for a while now.. Do you think those would be good for trollong around the ocean (in the bays), or lakes??? I doubt I would ever really put it in moving water.

I have been reading up on the Pontoons and although this one has a great price it's going to give you headaches. From the reviews and comments about the Costco Pontoon's is that the price is great but the bladders suck. If you don't mind taking it back to Costco for an exchange because of the leaky bladders then go for it. I think they also carry a no questions asked full refund policy. IMHO spend the extra buck for a better quality boat that will last for years and will not let you down while on the river or lake. That's all you need while on the lake is a leaky bladder
