Congratulations Zee

Postby Barrie Mann » September 21st, 2008, 3:24 pm

I would like to congratulate Zee on his spectacular win at the 2008 SSFFC Rendezvous. Not only did Zee take the overall trophy with over 360 aggregate inches, he took the biggest fish caught prize and then went on to win the custom made fly rod in a raffle type event. As one friend put it and I quote " I should have kidnapped his butt and got him to buy me a lottery ticket with that type of luck". Well winning the custom made fly rod may have been luck. But catching the most and largest fish took skill. Once again congratulations Zee. A well deserved win.

Congrats! Looks like Zee can rod himself up for his next year's Alaska trip.

That's for sure. You don't go on this river and catch tons of fish because your lucky. There has to be lots of skill involved when you put up a number like 360 inches. WTG ZEE :ugeek:

Zee it was great fishing with you during the derby and every other time we have shared the water. It seemed that some of Zee's good luck rubbed off on me and I ended getting this new toy in the raffle.

Take care buddy and let's see what the San Juan will bring us this weekend.

Barrie, first off, it was a pleasure meeting you, I know you were there last year, but I never got the chance to chat with you!
Sorry I missed you on Sat. morning, but I was busy dunking my camera!

Z, not much to say here that has not already been said!

Just hope you don't upset the locals when you put on a clinic for them on the SJ!

Eric scored too! He wanted that reel, REELY BAD!
Congrats on your win!

See y'all around.
