Thought I'd introduced myself and say that I'm pleased to be a part of the community. I'm a lifelong angler, but a neophyte at flyfishing. When someone says "I'm fishing 50 spectra with a 10 foot fluoro topshot using a butterfly jig," I get it. When someone says "I'm using 4x leader on weight forward 5 foot sink tip with a 8' 4wt rod using a caddis pattern," well, I get lost. So, it's like rediscovering the thrill of angling all over again. Flyfishing suits my ethics in as far as catch and release and conservation. I'm pleased to be a part of it.
Look forward to reading the posts and learning as much as I can.
