Great turnout, super presentations and awesome fly tying at our Delta Day event yesterday. Thanks everyone for making a very wet Saturday a sparkling success. Those who attended saw some amazing pics of California Delta and it's fishing opportunities from Mike and John. Al Q. and Dave W. demoed some cool fly patterns that are sure to score local stripers this winter. Who's up for a group trip to the Delta next spring?

I was so sorry to have missed this event. Work!. An event at Fisherman's spot is like going to a family reunion and this time I missed the great American specialty Hot Dogs and Chili. *! You're always apt to see someone at the store who you've fished with, a pal you've lost touch off or even make a few new ones. The neighbor hood feel of this shop makes me sorry I can't make each event. Maybe the next.

We have a lot of fun at these events too. I always learn something new at each one. We were surprised to have folks from as far away as Bakersfield and Riverside show up despite the crappy weather. Hope to see you guys at the next one.
