A huge fish caught on a Tenkara rod. Amazing for a fixed line on a big river.

It's a bull trout. I think he'd been catching whitefish and the bull trout was a nice change.

It's the first rod I pull out on every trip. The last trip to Bishop was too windy so we turned around for home. Sherry couldn't get a cast with her Helios and wasn't fishing. We'll be heading out again after the new year begins and the Christmas rush is over.
