First off Welcome!! Second, dare I repeat what everyone else has said..... Yes, you've obvioulsy married your perfect woman, congrats, she is awesome, and thanks for sharing your honeymoon of all things on this forum. Can't wait to see what your "fishing" trip reports are like.

I thank you all for the kind welcoming words.... :grouphug:

The trip was on South Island, we stayed in Queenstown. The river was the Mataura as well as another that was near the town of Wanaka. This has been a memorable trip for the both of us and plans are in the works for a revisit :rockon:

All of these fish faught like champs... But one of them nearly kicked my :booty:

... Good thing I had a lot of practice here in our local Los Angeles mountains :mrgreen:

. That came in handy!
The one thing that made the fishing extra special was that I never once used the guides flies! All the fish were caught by flies tied state side! Made in the good 'ol US of A!!! by me! Nothing better than hooking into the fish in other lands with your own homegrown! :rockon:

I look foreword to being able to participate more on this forum.

First off welcome to the forum!!!

I am hard pressed to think of a better way to spend a honeymoon. Those are some good looking browns for sure.
