Holiday Gift

Postby fflutterffly » December 22nd, 2009, 10:01 am

While lying here on my 5th day of recovery I thought 'how was I to finish my holiday gift giving' for my fly fishing friends. What is it that we all need, often? Flies. I decided it was time to order more flies from theflystop.com. This isn't a plug where I am redeemed for endorsements, but a truly perfect easy way to solve my holiday gifting. I purchased 50 flies for $30.00s. Easy, simply and quality and something we can all use.

hi fflutterffly, i'm sorry to hear that you are down. i just had surgery myself yesterday and will be down for a few weeks. my wife, karen , gave me an early christmass gift in the form of kent rianda's dvd set "crowley university ". if you have not seen this thing , get it . i have been fishing that lake for 25 years and i was just blown away at some of the information, and i'm only halfway thru it. if you are traped in the house for a while it's a great way to spend some of that time. i think i gave myself carpal tunnel from taking notes. i hope that you will feel better soon. -- mike.

Mike I'm wishing you a very speedy recovery and thanks for the tip on entertainment. One of the best 'time wasters' I've found while recouping is Netflix. Since I'll be in bed for 2.5 weeks its a blessing. Hope your family has a wonderful holiday and a prosperous new year.

Sorry boys I do my recoveries pill free. For those who know me I can hardly drink a beer without falling on my face...Ok not really, but one beer is all it takes so those pills... thy make me feel worse than the surgery.
Thanks for all the well wishes and back to all you in the same situation.
