Question about regulations

Postby castaway » December 31st, 2009, 3:16 pm

I have access to private property with a no-name creek running through it. It is rumored to have a nice population of browns..

So Can I fish it during the winter? :?

Depends on what district it is in. See pages 26-29 in the DFG reg book.

Yea.. I thought the private property might impact the fishability of the creek, regardless of district (property rights?)... its hard to tell from the map of the districts which one its in.. I think its the valley region.. but its close.

Private property would not impact it at all, unless the stream was wholly contained within that property (I think).

If you genuinely believe it falls in the valley district, given the best information available to you via DFG/FGC, then I say go for it. Let your conscience be your guide... the truth is, you have like zero risk of being caught, so it all about doing the right thing.
