Need a license from California?

Postby midger » January 4th, 2010, 6:31 pm

The new online system appears to work well as I just went and purchased my 2010 license tonight--no, unlike those of you who have already fished 4 days, I won't get out until tomorrow.

Go to:

http://www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/ols/intro.html

Pretty painless. You can print a temporary at the conclusion of the action and a permanent will be mailed to you within 10 days. I like this.
"Should you cast your fly into a branch overhead or into a bush behind you, or miss a fish striking, or lose him,or slip into a hole up to your armpits-keep your temper; above all things don't swear, for he that swears will catch no fish."

Lots of folks doing it with no problems.

So when I find one with your name on it at the bottom of some crazy canyon I'll know it's yours? Get out there!
Slap a cold trout on it!

Wow Oregon is almost as expensive as you guys now for a non-res. annual :o

Good thing I will only need to pay $41 and some change when I go down there to fish ;)
