I'm thinking 40 inches ought to be about right. We are hunkered down in our canyon and getting ready for washed out roads and possible flooding.

54 1/2". cool idea mike!
Fishing is the most wonderful thing I do in my life, barring some equally delightful unmentionables.

California weathermen are drama queens but hopefully they're right this time.

Price is right theory may work, but I'm looking for the closest total amount. Going over has no adverse impact. We may get only rain in which case MK4 would have a lock, unless someone picks no snow--0 inches.

Weathermen can be very dramatic. I don't even have any idea how much we'll get, but have stocked much wood in dry places, fired up the generator just in case, cleaned the driveway of all leaves/needles so the snowblower won't pick up anything, laid in 5 gallons of snow blower gas. Guess I'm as ready as I can be, and frankly, I'd love to see 6 feet of snow. I've got flies to tie, rods to build, stained glass windows to lay out..............I'll not be bored, and I really like snow.

It was 60 degrees with zero wind yesterday in Kernville. It's only like that before a storm. The calm before the storm scenario. Something is on the way.

Hopefully others are as prepared in your area.

Wait! Questions: Does this include what you already have on your deck or did you scrap it off and we are starting a new? Makes a diff.

The deck is completely clean today. I'll post a picture this morning.

Here's the deck:
