I fished with the Vision rep a few years ago in Ireland, and really liked the rods. Send us pics of the results!

Nice, Zee. That Cult rod sounds like it could be a winner. I'd like to see a lifetime warranty on it at that price though. Still, looking forward to a review if you get one. :)
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Hi,

I think the Vision Cult 11.1ft 4wt is winner for me. I want use this fly rod in Poland and Slovenia because these rivers are wide up to 150feet, so I think with this fly rod will be blast to in these rivers.

I hope I will order this fly rod in March with Hardy Demon reel :D :D .

Zee,

Will that be in addition to or instead of a Grey's rod (which one are you getting)?

Echo is also coming out with a 10' & a 10'-6" 3 wt as well as an 11' 4 wt in the $330 range:

Hi Jim,

thanks for the link, the Echo sound good too. But they are not in market yet. They should be out in 7 - 8 weeks, so I will wait I guess.

I do have the Greys Streamflex 10' 3wt 4pc - I will use this one here in Czech and I want the longer one for Poland and Slovenia.

Zee,

Have you used the Greys rod? I'm curious if it handles a couple nymphs, splitshot, and an indicator or if it's mainly for a 2-3 heavily weighted czech nymphs only.

Jim, the greys can handle that nymph set up with no problems at all.
