Rio's latest trout line offering.

"The Trout LT has been designed for the ultimate in performance for traditional trout fly fishing techniques and features a long front taper with a delicate tip that ensures the softest of presentations. The weight forward models have a long head that makes roll casting and mending easy and a weight distribution that allows a rod to load at close range."

I have no idea if this line is any better or not, but I'm mostly happy with the Rio lines I use. I might set a reel up with this line, for my local "spooky" tailwater fish.

The Rio Gold line I use on my 4 wt has been a really good line. I have been looking for a short 3 wt for creek fishing, and maybe this line might be a good fit.

I know it's a ploy for all these manufacturers to sell more stuff. We don't need it! If you want to spend your hard earned money on this stuff, then do it. What are you going to do with your old stuff that works now? I'm saving for retirement and my stuff works already. Ok, it works for now. That's where technique comes in. A bluegill or bass rod? Pretty soon we'll have a NASCAR rod. Geeezzzzzz. Just what we need. 209er
