Scott G (original series)

Ariel's post about the LL got me thinking. Some folks rank these rods up there with the LL. Has anyone cast these rods in the lighter weights. I have not. I have been casually looking for a 4wt and have found a few, but they were always priced.....like a "classic". A bit too high for my liking for a used rod, but willing to pay a bit more for a minty rod.

Anyone?

Most of my close fishing partners fish light lines for their dry fly rods. The four weights are a joy to cast, and yes, I have used one on a creek filled with big browns, sipping mayflies. I am looking for a 3 weight for that creek. (Yes, the good doctor's, and sasha's interest in light lines has made me rethink my views!)
