Sasha,

If you wish to buy one of the Hardy Aln featherlight rods... go ahead... but please dont fish for large wild browns with it... The rod cant do it safely.... it is specificaly designed for one thing..creeks and small fish.

aguabruja wrote:Alright. So I am pretty new here and I have only one post. But I read this forum alot especialy the stories about the txl spl and slt rods. And I was reading a lot of the comments on here about ultralights. I really like my Txl 0. But i thought all the 0, and 00 and 000 fly rods were called feather lights? I'm pretty sure the txl and spl and slt 0 rods they are in a class all of their own right?. My friend told me 1 and 2 weight fly rods were ultralights? I was not sure about posting this because i didnt want to start a argument like I saw in anothr subject on here but I would like to know if i'm right or not. and what other rods are really featherlight. I have not seen any more companies beside sage.

See what you did. Aren't you ashamed of yourself!!

Just so there is no misunderstanding, I'm kidding.

Great second post!! :) :)

By the way, I call my TXL 0 weight rod, a zero weight. I don't call it ultralight, featherweight, or anything like that. I do the same for my 2-10 weight rods. I think everybody should do the same. So there!

That new sig line is pretty funny  Unfortunately I am not upset by it as I do not get my panties in a twist over such things.

Does anyone else find humor in the heated debate over who has a smaller less functional rod?

I would think we'd be bragging about our 'two handers' am I right? am I right?

I don't think the heated debate was because of the type of rod or anything. I think Bill was just butt hurt about some stupid sig line I have had for about a week now. No worries though I am going to go fish the south fork this week and post some more "chest pounding" :bananadance:

So let me get this right...

So far in this thread Sasha has called me an idiot, a vagin@, a girl, and told me to shut the Fuc* up... does that about cover all the personal insults?

Obviously... the low land gorilla is higher on the evolutionary pole.

But let me say what I think about him... since I do enjoy responding in Kind.

He is a small man..suffers from extreme napoleon complex, has limited mental capacity, probably ate boogers as a child (and well into his adult life), and basicly is what I like to call "a window licker"... Loves to think of himself as some sort of "god" yet is rarely seen doing anything of any importance.. Probably has limited education, and will always toil in his own self-image problems.

So I think we are about even?
