Calling all SPL owners! (In the SGV area)

If there are any out there... just was curious to try casting a 0wt or 1wt just for kicks. I live in Arcasia if any of you are nearby. Just curious as to the action of these rods in comparison to my TXL.

Man I know who is showing up at my funeral!

"I'm really sorry for your loss... listen Ryan promised me his 000wt so yeah if I could just grab that from you I'll be on my way so you can get back to mourning"

Just comparing Arvin, not replacing!

I have casted the TXL at the Bakersifeld fly shop... but its gone now... I must admit.. I do need to toss em on the water...

The blanks are darn good price... 270 or so.

Any bakersfield owners?

I will let you toss my baby as well...

I've got both a 0 and a 1 in the SPL. My sister still lives in Arcadia (she's the librarian for the high school) - I might be able to get them to her and you could go to her place and cast them. I most likely will see her this Sunday. She lives on Caroline Way between Las Tunas and Live Oak. Let me know - maybe and IM.
I have a retirement plan - I plan on going fishing.

Ryan,
Try a fiberglass rod from Steffen Bros, or Lamiglass. You'll sale that TXL in a heartbeat!

I got $250 that agrees with Mark :D

I don't think anyone in their right mind could ever get rid of a TXL once they've got it. I'm not saying he shouldn't get a glass rod ALSO, mind you.
