So, I kinda started a webpage on a lark the other night. Not really sure why, or what form it will take. Maybe it will feature ads, maybe it won't. maybe it will die a slow death, I'm not sure.

So far, I just threw a few pictures up and got things started.

Anyway, I want your feedback.... What would YOU read? What would make a flyfishing site worth visiting every couple days? I don't want it to become a clone of the Trout Underground or Moldy Chum. I don't want to just reprocess information from other Blogs, but I do want to put some opinion into it. There will likely be some fly-tying, some biology, and some other stuff too.

I may go as far as to start marketing a few items (Dry Fly floatant would be my first product!).

Ultimately, I hope to improve my writing, and perhaps have a few people read it.

I really like the name. Not something you'll easily forget. Just keep adding stuff that interests you, and I'm sure it'll interests a lot of other people. Definitely agree about not reprocessing other blog stuff.

Pictures! Not sure how that works. Maybe you don't want to take up a bunch of room on the page, but insert a click-able link in the right spot might work? Oh, and I don't want to sound like a broken record, but pics of April Vokey are always a good thing.

Good start. I like the adipose right side up--the way I'm used to seeing them in the wild.

Nice articles on furled leaders. I'm one of those crusty old dudes who ties his leaders at the stream, and changes lengths often during the day. I used the Orvis braided leaders for about 5-6 years back in the 80's, but went back to my old school ways in the late 80s. Old dog, ya know.

New stuff on the page. Very cool stuff about leaders. I mean you have to be a little kooky to be so interested in this kind of stuff, but I like it!

Forgot to mention earlier. Thanks for the links to the Paiute Cutthroat Trout restoration project. I had casually followed the progress, up until the time our friends at the CBD stepped in and successfully blocked the rotenone treatment. I noticed the latest/final EIR is dated Feb 2010. Like you, I'm hopeful the restoration will be able to continue.......I don't think a "new" EIR is going to change CBD stance.
