OK anglers, here's my struggle. Work is busy, but I have a chance to fish the middle of next week. Weather is an issue, but I've little
experience with the area and fly in general.

Question - Would you fish the EW next Thursday, or go at a different time?

With the flows bouncing around it's a tough call. It needs about 24 hours of level flow before fishing turns on. When I was there last week, Rick said that irrigation water demands have started downstream, and it's tough to call the flow. If you go, let us know how it was.

GO ! any time that you can fish , do it. the times that conditions are tough can be when we learn the most.
besides, suppose the iranians or north koreans pop an EMP device over us and knock out all of our electronics. you know the first thing that you will think is " AHHH CRAP- I SHOULDA WENT FISHING WHEN I HAD A CHANCE ! ".

I just cancelled my three days on the river with my best friend due to the high waters. Not that they're un-fishable, but because the levels keep changing and this puts the fish down until it settles. This time of year fishing an egg pattern or stripping streamers seems to be the keep. Dry flies are a little more if'y unless you can find some quiet top water. But you know what..... GO
