Great issue. That's some nasty looking carpin' water on pages 42/43. Not something I'd care to fall into.

Your article on the Teton was also a great one. Sure hope that dam is a nonstarter. They've been discussing a dam on another Idaho river as well--the Middle Fork of the Boise. I hate dams.

Simply outstanding work. Photography and content are first caliber!

Did you see Graham's stuff- holly crap is all I can say. Toad Browns, both above and underneath the surface.

Thanks guys/gals- this issue is ridiculous. Sooooo much *.

Looking for feedback about issue 2 in prep for issue 3.

Anyone have any thoughts on what they didn't see or wish they would have?

We got the font check: changing from "American Typewriter to Adobe G Pro."

We also got the asked for a "Gear Review". So far over 100 people have asked for one. Go figure?

Finally, got about four dozen emails calling for a SID movie. Not much of a movie guy myself, don't really know where to start there.

Anyways, not doing it for anything other than the "Love to Fish". Hopefully that comes a cross a bit?

I'm sure the call for input will draw a couple of the usual -"you guys suck" thing. Looking for those, past puberty, to respond.

thanks,

AO

Best fishing mag I have seen... I like how the emphisis is not on "the hot spot" but on the total experience... which.. is really what its all about.

I do see one major thing missing.... ME!

However ... I think that is how people are supposed to feel after reading your "dirt".

I am inspired to find a few exotic places (or not so exotic places) of my own. Meaning ..... the places that really are not all *'d, whored, commericialized out... see: NZ, Chili, Alaska, etc... not that those places dont have AMAZING fishing... but everytime I pick up a mag...it usually has most of its pages dedicated to those places... (ads for lodges, etc..).

Anyways... Lovely stuff...

Hey Aaron, Thank you, it was truly an honor to be a part of SID II, the entire publication is awesome and inspiring! You're doing great work and I have a feeling each issue will surpass the previous one, and I can't wait to check out SID III...

Amazing as usual. Please don't ever change how awesome this mag is.

I've been looking for a career change and this life looks a lot better than the other things on my list. Thanks for livin' the dream!
