How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Dang, to think I passed up a golden opportunity, when on the Kern a few weeks ago, I merely slipped on the slimy rocks fell in and dunked my camera!

I was with you, you don't need to be modest. It's hard to stay afoot when battling a 32" trout like you were.
